Reward offered for information about the driver who damaged the golf course: PD


SOUTHAMPTON, NY – Authorities are offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the driver of a vehicle that damaged property at a Southampton golf course as he fled from police in June.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a quick cash reward of $ 1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case; the award will be issued within 72 hours, police said.

Southampton Town Police were attempting to stop a gray 2007 4-door Acura with Florida HEAE90 plates when the vehicle fled, crashing through two security gates at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, located at 200 Tuckahoe Road on June 3, police said. The vehicle was found abandoned and burnt on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation on June 11, police said.
