Kim and Parrott tied for 19th after day one of Diane Daugherty’s invitation


ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Ball State’s women’s golf team returned to the course for rounds one and two of Diane Daugherty’s Monday invite. Liz Kim and Kiah Parrot led the Cardinals and is tied for 19th while BSU is 11th after day one at Bogey Hills Country Club.

Parrott started the day with an 84 (+13) and was tied for 54th after the first round. She climbed 35 places in the standings to find herself tied for 19th with a mark of 158 (+16) in two rounds. She shot a 74 (+3) in the second round. She collected two birdies during the day.

Kim opened the tournament with a 76 (+5) with three birdies in the first round. She posted an 82 (+11) in the second round. Her total of 158 (+16) in two rounds places her tied for 19th. She collected four birdies on the first day.

Hadley Moritz is tied for 49th in the standings after notching two birdies that day. Payton Bennett posted four birdies and is tied for 80th after two rounds. Dylan Armstrong is tied for 84th, while Tiegan Taylor is tied for 86th.

The Cardinals return to Bogey Hills Country Club on Tuesday for the final round of invitational Diane Daugherty. This is a tee shot at 10 a.m. ET and BSU will start on holes 10-12. Live statistics can be found on Golfstat.com or by click here.
