Historical Society Golf Tournament at Carolina Colors in New Bern

NEW BERN, NC – The New Bern Historical Society invites you to “Tee It Up Fore History” during the Historical Society’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 12 at the Carolina Colors Golf Club.

Executive Director Mickey Miller expects this to be a special, fun-filled event. “You’ll enjoy a great day of golf, a delicious dinner, and support the New Bern Historical Society all at the same time,” Miller said.

This superball tournament is open to the public, but the number of places is limited. Golfers can register individually, as a couple or as a foursome. There are still places open. The cost is $90 per person and includes green fees, cart, unlimited shooting balls, prizes and goody bag. a sumptuous post-golf dinner at the Carolina Colors Pavilion. Please register as soon as places fill up.

There are cash prizes for men, women and pairs for first and second place and for the longest and closest ride to the hairpin for both men and women. There are four hole-in-one prizes with a whopping $40,000 to purchase a new Nissan vehicle from East Carolina Nissan for a hole-in-one on #6, and other great hole-in-one prizes. suddenly on #2, #12 and #16.

Registration opens at 11 a.m. Departure, with a shotgun start, is at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be available for purchase from 11am.
