There’s a new No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin collegiate rankings and to no one’s surprise, it’s the Arizona State Sun Devils, who used a dominating performance at last week’s Southwestern Invitational to climb to the top of the poll. .

After their 30-under performance to win the nationally televised Southwestern Intercollegiate earlier in the week by 13 strokes over Pepperdine, the Sun Devils moved from third to first in the Golfweek/Sagarin Top-25 while the defending NCAA Waves champion remained in second place.

Oklahoma, Texas A&M and North Carolina round out the poll’s top five.

The win at North Ranch Country Club marked ASU’s second tag team title this season after winning at Isleworth Collegiate in October. The Sun Devils also placed in the top five at the Maridoe (3rd) and Fighting Illini Invitationals (2nd) in September.

Cameron Sisk (Maridoe), Preston Summerhays (co-medallist East Lake) and David Puig (Southwestern) have all had individual wins this season.

The Sun Devils return to action on Thursday when they join a strong field at the Amer Ari Invitational at Hapuna Golf Club on the Big Island.
